Q. How can I download the images?
A. All you need to do is click on the thumbnail of the wallpaper you want to download. It will appear in its original size. Now, To Save the images on your computer Right-click on the image or wallpaper. A dialog box appears. In that Dialog Box click on "Save Picture As..." (For MS Internet Explorer) or "Save Image As..."(For Netscape) to save it on your hard drive.

Q. Can I setup the images directly as my wallpaper without saving them?
A. Yes you can. After you've clicked on the thumbnail on the wallpaper. Right-Click on the full-sized image. A dialog box will appear. On this Box choose "Set As Wallpaper" or "Set As Desktop Background" (WindowsXP) and that image will become your desktop wallpaper.

Q. How can I set my resolution to 800 x 600 pixels?
A. To set your resolution to 800 x 600, click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Display. The Display properties window appears. Click on the "Settings" tab at the top of the window. Look for the "Screen Area" frame. In this frame, move the bar over to 800 by 600 pixels mark and click Ok. Your resolution will now be changed to 800 x 600 pixels.

A. WallpapersArchive.com hosts wallpapers that are considered to be in the public domain. It does not want to break copyright laws of other companies who've worked hard making them. Most of the wallpapers found on our site are FREE. However, If you are the rightful owner of any image then you can contact us and we will remove it immediately.

Q. I have downloaded the wallpapers but they dont fit on my screen properly. What should i do?
A. Its possible that you are using a different resolution than 1024 by 768. Our site hosts 1024 x 768 and above resolution wallpaper but you can always request for different versions by writing to wm@wallpapersarchive.com. If you want to change your resolution to 1024 x 768, click here!

Q. I dont know what resolution I'm using. How can I find it out?
A. To find out your resolution click on Start > Settings > Control Panel. Doube-click on Display. Now click on the tab that says 'Settings' at the top. In the bottom right corner of the window, theres a Screen Area label. Your current screen resolution is written below it. This is the resolution you are currently using.

Q. I try searching for wallpapers but in return I get an "Invalid Search" error. What am I doing wrong?
A. There could be a number of reasons like use of characters which are not allowed in searches (@,#,$ etc.). Also, one-word searches are not allowed on our web site. Another reason could be that all the form values were not properly submitted or you did not pick a category.
